Dorothy House Hospice customised the digital collectables trail template to engage supporters at Christmas. Participants ran the 10k trail in Bath looking for QR codes. Using their phone to scan the codes, they could unlock one of 10 characters. There was also the option to take a selfie with each character and share via social media.
The real-time analytics meant Dorothy House Hospice could watch the collectable results come in. Granular data also gave the charity the unique opportunity to better understand the event. For example, they were able to establish the engagement levels across the 10K locations, including conversion rates.
